About Letap International
Who is Letap International?
- Letap International LLP is a merchant export house in Mumbai, India, trading since 1990. It sources, consolidates and documents packaging and industrial goods for buyers abroad, with one point of contact per shipment.
What does Letap International supply?
- Six divisions: glass packaging, plastic packaging, flexible packaging, woven & paper sacks, mining equipment and private label. The online catalogue lists the published references in each, and items outside it are sourced to order.
Can you run a private-label programme for my brand?
- Yes. A private-label programme covers factory selection, artwork and repro, compliance documentation, and consolidation of the whole programme — including lines from several factories — into one shipment.
Ordering and pricing
How do I get a price?
- Send the reference code — or, for items not in the catalogue, a specification or drawing — with your quantity and destination port. We come back with FOB or CIF pricing, the minimum order quantity and the lead time, usually within two working days. Every product page shows its reference code.
What is the minimum order quantity?
- It is quoted per order rather than published as a fixed figure. Send a reference or specification, a quantity and a destination port, and the minimum order quantity comes back with the price and lead time.
Can I order a size, material or finish that is not listed?
- Yes. Sizes, materials and finishes are confirmed per order and are not limited to those shown in the catalogue. Send a drawing, a sample or a specification with your quantity.
Is there a printed catalogue I can download?
- Yes. The printed catalogues are free to download as PDF, with no sign-up, from the catalogues page. Every product in them carries the same reference code you quote for pricing.
Shipping and documents
Which countries do you export to, and from which port?
- We export to the United States, the United Kingdom, South Africa, West Africa, East Africa and the Middle East. Goods load from any major Indian port, whichever suits the consignment, on FOB or CIF terms.
What export documents do you provide?
- Invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and inspection paperwork, issued by Letap International itself rather than a broker.
Quality
How is quality checked before shipment?
- Every consignment is inspected at the factory against the specification you approved, not a generic standard. Packaging lines get dimensional, drop and leak testing, and material certificates are supplied on request. Each carton carries an internal reference that traces it to category, supplier, year and sequence.
